First Phase Colomadu Superblock to Begin!


The ex-sugar factory Colomadu (PG Colomadu) will be developed into an international cultural heritage. The Government District of Karanganyar will make Colomadu as the central area of modernization and new tourist destination. "In addition it is also the center of goods and services, trade, space industry," said Regent Karanganyar, Juliyatmono, Sunday (9/4/2017).

With regard to the plan, State-Owned Enterprises Minister Rini Soemarno visiting and doing groudbreaking the first stone in the ex-PG Colomadu 19.7 hectare, which stands on the land of PTPN IX, Saturday (4/8/2017).

State-Owned Enterprises Minister Rini Soemarno optimistic after revitalized, an ex-sugar factory (PG) Colomadu became a cultural center in Central Java, even capable of bringing international musicians. "I target the revitalization phase 1 completed at the end of the year 2017. Other targets, in January 2018 there are international musicians performing in PG Colomadu so that this area is known to the world. Promote Top Products Of Karanganyar Regency

See that potential, Karanganyar District Government intends to include top products from small and  medium enterprises in exhibition space. Karanganyar district proposed placement of showroom quality local product exports, such as batik fashion and wood crafts from small and  medium enterprises.

"Export-quality products will be on display there. In Karanganyar, we also have that kind of products. We will offer to the exporters of the product in the New Colomadu showroom display later,"said Juliyatmono, Regent of Karanganyar. Juliyatmono believe could boost the welfare of the local craftsmen. Obviously, the SME must standardize their products to match the quality of exports.

Bekas pabrik gula Colomadu akan dijadikan pusat budaya dan ekonomi kreatif

Revitalisasi PG Colomadu Digarap 4 Tahap Dimulai Akhir 2016 dan Selesai Tahun 2028. Pembangunannya Sangat Luas Mencakup Hotel, Mal, Apartement, Ruko, Pusat Budaya, Pusat Ekonomi Kreatif, Tur Agrowisata dan Pameran Internasional.



Rencana revitalisasi Pabrik Gula (PG) Colomadu akan dimulai akhir tahun ini. Dana revitalisasi akan dikucurkan oleh Badan Usaha Milik Negara (BUMN). Pihak swasta juga kemungkinan diberi kesempatan untuk berperan serta.

Menurut Sekretaris Daerah Pemkab Karanganyar, Samsi, saat ditemui di ruangannya Selasa (19/7) mengatakan pengerjaan proyek revitalisasi PG Colomadu akan diawali dengan ground breaking tahap I yang berlangsung pada akhir 2016. Diperkirakan untuk revitalisasi tahap I ini akan berlangsung sampai 2018.

“Rencana revitalisasi dibagi empat tahapan sampai tahun 2028. Adapun tahap I sampai 2018, akan diawali ground breaking yang kita rencanakan pada Januari 2017 mendatang,” kata Samsi.

Diutarakan Samsi, proyek revitalisasi tersebut tak hanya menitikberatkan pada penyelamatan situs cagar budaya, akan tetapi bakal mengakomodasi pertumbuhan industri kreatif dan ekshibisi.

Berdiri di atas lahan yang sangat luas yaitu 20 hektar, PG Colomadu akan ditata di blok A sampai D di mana masing-masing blok berlainan fungsi. Dalam hal ini, lanjut Samsi, Pemkab Karanganyar juga ikut berperan menyediakan ekstra lahan 2,5 hektare tanah di timur PG yang saat ini berdiri Balai Benih Ikan (BBI) Colomadu. “Untuk pembagian itu nanti kita masih menunggu MoU yang nantinya akan ditandatangani Bupati Karanganyar Juliyatmono,” katanya.

Banyak perusahaan memang sudah melirik Solo Baru, Palur dan Jaten sebagai lokasi kantor. Namun, Colomadu tetap dipandang sebagai titik paling strategis. Selain bersebelahan langsung dengan Solo, Colomadu juga dekat dengan pusat-pusat transportasi.

Sementara itu, Kepala Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan (Disparbud) Tarsa mengatakan obyek cagar budaya di Bumi Intanpari bakal didata ulang untuk kepentingan pelestarian dan pemanfaatan. “Kami berupaya menjalankan UU pelestarian cagar budaya. Aspek pelestarian mengharuskan perawatan, dan ini bukan tanggung jawab Pemkab semata,” terang Tarsa

Samsi optimis pabrik revitalisasi dibangun KGPAA Mangkunegara IV saat tahun 1861, ini bakal jadi magnet baru pertumbuhan ekonomi, sosial dan budaya di Karanganyar. Kepala Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan (Disparbud) Tarsa Perkataan benda cagar budaya di Intanpari Bumi bakal disimpan untuk kepentingan konservasi dan pemanfaatan. "Kami berusaha untuk mempromosikan hukum pelestarian warisan budaya. Aspek pelestarian membutuhkan perawatan, dan ini bukan tanggung jawab pemerintah daerah. Sedangkan keterlibatan lintas BUMN diperlukan karena bayangkan saja berapa biaya revitalisasi PG Colomadu yang mana sulit dibantu oleh APBD," katanya.

Samsi said, a number of STATE-OWNED companies participate to supply funding for revitalization.

"STATE-OWNED ENTERPRISES shall be obliged to support a new tourist area. Almost all of them collect dues such as PT Angkasa Pura, Pertamina, PT Krakatau Steel and so on, "he explained.

Indonesia's investment in the first half 2016 grow 14.8% to USD 22,7 billion

The realization of the investment coming into Indonesia for the period II quarter 2016 reached Rp 151.6 trillion (USD 11.57 billion). This investment figure recorded rising 12.3% compared to the same period the previous year.

"The figure broke the record high of realization of the investment in Indonesia," said the head of the Capital Investment Coordination Agency (BKPM), Thomas Lembong, in a news conference at the offices of the BKPM, Jakarta, Thursday (29/7/2016).

Of the total investment in the quarter II-2016, the number of Domestic Investment (PMDN) reached Rp 52.2 trillion, or rose 21.7% compared to the same period the previous year.

As for Foreign Investment (PMA) totaling Rp 99.4 trillion, or 7.9% versus the same period a year earlier.

Incoming investment from the PMDN is as follows:
  • Transportation and warehouse Rp 8.33 trillion with 91 projects
  • Non metallic mineral industry Rp 8.13 trillion with 70 projects
  • The food industry Rp 7.73 trillion in 39 projects
  • Construction of the Rp 6.32 trillion in 134 projects
  • Food crops and plantations for Rp 3.47 trillion with 161 projects.
While all semester I-2016, the value of investment coming into the country are Rp 298.1 trillion, or rose 14.8% versus the same period a year earlier.
 
Of these, the PMDN realization reached Rp 102.6 trillion or a rise of 20% from the same period a year earlier. Then for PMA recorded Rp 195.5 trillion, or rose 12.3% compared to the same period the previous year.
